Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or College Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are now open and may close on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the following requirements:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who arises from a house which has a combined gross house earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined house income won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and wish not post any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African nsfas status check citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to deliver the correct Identity Doc numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored in their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are learning or plan to research at a public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All my nsfas students who wish to study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
